Through
 Her Pain

Welcome to  Through Her Pain Online Museum
– A Space for Unheard Voices

How do we make the invisible visible?
How do we translate pain into something that can be seen, felt, and understood?

The space is a growing archive of personal expressions, collective narratives, and public awareness surrounding medical gaslighting—a phenomenon where patients, especially women, have their symptoms dismissed, minimized, or misattributed in medical settings.

Each piece in this collection is a tangible representation of an experience—a story told not in words, but through fabric, stitches, textures, and form. These creations emerged from our Emotion Embodied Workshop, where participants externalized their emotions through craft, transforming silent struggles into something that demands to be acknowledged.
How do we reclaim that voice?

Through artistic expression, we explore the intersection of emotion, validation, and agency. Our hands-on creative workshop allowed participants to externalize their experiences—stitching, weaving, assembling their emotions into tangible forms. Now, we extend this dialogue into a digital space—an online museum, where these deeply personal expressions merge into a collective narrative, amplifying awareness of medical gaslighting.

This is not just an exhibition; it is a dialogue. Each work contributes to a broader conversation about gendered bias in healthcare, the cultural expectations of endurance, and the need for systemic change.

We invite you to explore, reflect, and engage. Look closely. Read between the stitches. What do these pieces reveal about whose voices are heard—and whose are ignored?
